Lincolnshire Seminar
The first seminar to be held in Lincolnshire at Craig Clark's Kwoon. Craig Clark is an excellent student of Sifu Doug Clark. Craig Clark (no relation to Sifu Doug Clark) first met Sifu Doug Clark in late 2005 after contacting him through the Wong Shun Leung Man and Method Forum. Craig travelled all the way from his home in Lincolnshire to meet up with Doug in Warwickshire. There Craig discovered the depth of knowledge, practical skills and experience of Sifu Doug Clark and has remained loyal to him and his teachings to this day. Recognising the excellent lineage through the direct line of Yip Man to Wong Shun Leung to Sifu Anthony Kan to Sifu Doug Clark. The fact that Sifu Doug Clark has been training as a direct line student of Sifu Anthony Kan's since 1993 until the present day, training one to one for most of that time means that Craig Clark's Ving Tsun has reached new levels.
Craig Clark has his own purpose built Kwoon for the training of Ving Tsun and has a group of dedicated students that train alongside him. Craig has a long interest in Martial Arts as can be seen from his Biography listed on this website. He also skills in other lineages of Wing Chun as does Sifu Doug Clark.
However both recognise the excellent skills, knowledge and experience of Sifu Anthony Kan who is a true genuine Master of Ving Tsun having been a personal friend, direct line student and fully certified instructor of Wong Shun Leung. Sifu Anthony Kan now studies Yang Style Tai Chi Chaun under the tutelage of Professor Fang Ning the 5th Generation Grandmaster of the System and he is passing this System onto Sifu Doug Clark.
The picture above shows a seminar hosted at Craig Clark's Kwoon in Lincolnshire. This was a very enjoyable day with a great work ethic shown by all. The seminar covered Dan Chi Sau, and Seung Chi Sau as well as Lok Sau (rolling with forward pressure). Jon Thoi Ma was covered as well as Jut Sau and Pak Sau Drills.
Finally there was a demonstration of higher level concepts of Chi Sau performed by Sifu Doug Clark accompanied by Sifu Craig Clark which was enjoyed by all.
It is sincerely hoped that future seminars will be held soon.
